What is Rush, and how does it work? |
 |
|
Rush is the period of time at the
beginning of each semester where fraternities and sororities recruit
new members. Rushing a fraternity can be done by getting in touch with
their recruitment officer, normally during formal rush, when the
fraternity is showing their house and trying to meet potential
recruits. The most successful way to go through rush and figure out
which house is the best for you, it to come prepared to ask questions,
meet as many people as you can, and find out how that house can best
serve you. After attending various rush events and getting to know the
majority of the chapter, you will receive a bid. This bid, if accepted
will allow you to become a new member of the fraternity. The new
member process continues from this point, which will include
educational classes about the fraternity, a new member pinning
ceremony, and receiving a Big Brother. For more information on rushing
Delta Chi, please fill out our online contact form so we can add you
to our contact list and keep you informed of important rush events. |

Delta Chi on Hazing |
 |
|
Delta Chi has a strict no hazing policy that we follow very closely.
Delta Chi believes very firmly in the bonds of brotherhood and
believes that hazing only destroys this bond. This is so important to
our members, that in 1929 Delta Chi became the first fraternity to
abolish "Hell Week". |
