Rich Gundlach called over the weekend and is doing fine. He has a new job and
wished the chapter luck with recruitment.
Jason Buckley and Rick Jennings were in town over Labor Day and wished the
chapter good luck with recruitment.

Delta Chi Chapter Meeting Minutes – 9/29/07

Meeting called to order at 6 p.m. by “F”
Motion to approve last week’s minutes -Flanders/Lewis

A – Those members not going to Cedar Point this weekend need to give me your
excuse. This is a good way to raise money for the chapter to make improvements to
the house. I need to know today why you cannot go. Happy birthday to Ajello. Pin
attire needs to improve.
B – Committee assignments are being passed out.
C – Community service sheet sent around. The dues and PR form for Chad Ramsey
have been mailed to headquarters.
D – All AMs I have payment contracts for you.
E – No Report. We may not be able to cook at our tent so we may be getting rid of it.
F – Passing around sober brother sign up as well as risk management information.
Recruitment – We have a new recruitment plan for the week. Monday and Tuesday
will ! be campus storming sessions at 3:30 and 8 pm each day. They are mandatory
and you must stay for 45 minutes and meet one guy. Around 9pm on Tuesday we
will have a late night hang out at the house. Wednesday is a cookout with a bid
meeting to follow. If you have excuses for not attending the events this week you
must e-mail them to me tonight by midnight. Thursday we will have pinning.
Congratulations to the new members that have just been pinned. There will also be
incentives for good work this week with recruitment. Chi Omega would like us to do
a kiss and carnation for them on September 13th.
AMC – We had our first meeting today. Congratulation to the members just pinned.
This week we will have an event with the seniors and new members on Thursday.
Next Thursday there will be an event with the juniors. We will figure another time for
the sophomores. Next week at AM class will be Nick Bundy. If you wish to come and
be a special guest at AM class let me know ahead of ti! me.
BB – No Report.
Standards – No Report.
Social! – Septe mber 21st will be a social with Chi Omega. Social meeting coming
soon.
Philanthropy – The Kappa Classic is September 22nd from 12 to 5pm. As of now I
have one team. It is $35 per person. If you want to play you will have to cover the
costs. Our philanthropy is on November 4th. It is call 3 on 3 for Jimmie V. We will
have a meeting after chapter today.
Fundraiser – This is fundraising week. We will be divided into teams for the campus
menus fundraiser. We will hang up flyers and hand out things. Please make sure you
shave for Cedar Point. We need to be there by 6 pm on Friday. On Saturday we work
2pm to close, and on Sunday we work noon to close. We will most likely make about
$3000. I need to know as soon as possible if you can go. Room assignments and
drivers are to be determined. Please join the campus menus facebook group. In
addition to handing out flyers we will be doing sidewalk chalk.
Brotherhood – We had our meeting before chapter. Thanks to those who p!
articipated in the Delta Chi olympics this weekend. We also have other events on the
horizon such as paintball, minigolf and trivia night.
Intramurals – Flag football will be starting up. I need someone to go the captain's
meeting. We will work on getting a C team together. Those members who were to
get intramural jerseys last year will get them soon.
Community Service – Thanks to those who did security this weekend.
Scholarship – The winner of the A board is- Ryan Evens. Keep putting things on the
A board. Study tables will be Monday and Tuesday. Svoboda is the proctor Monday
and Robb is the proctor for Tuesday.
Web – Pictures will go up on the website soon.
House Manager – We are changing the ways that chores are going. Monday midday I
will change the chores list. There is also a list of what is required for each room. A
kitchen cleaning part will happen tonight at 10pm. Please watch your language in
the house. Things in the house are slowly getting ! fixed.
Dance Marathon – The first overall is September 19! th at 9p m in the union
ballroom. DGR meetings are going to start soon and I will have more information as
they proceed.
PR – Many of the sororities have founding days in October and I am working on
something for them.
Historian – I have been taking pictures and will also be taking new website pictures
this week. Thanks to Ryan Evens for taking pictures at Delta Chi olympics.
RLC- No meeting the week.

Buzzelli- There are 11 people that signed up for sober brother and most of them
are seniors. Please sign up if you can.
Flanders- There was an alumnus from Illinois State at the house this weekend.

Robb- Study tables on Monday and Tuesday from 8 to 10.
Guyer- Those who need to go the study tables this week plan accordingly with
recruitment.
B.J.- Please come and support those members playing sports this week.
Albright- Stop by the house if you are a campus menu team leaders.
Lewis- I am passing on the A's badge to Pierson.
