Delta Chi Chapter Meeting Minutes – 1/27/08

Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m. by “F”
Motion to approve last week’s minutes-Robb/Johnson

A – Thanks for all who came to chapter today. We need to keep
attendance up this week. Chapter is mandatory every week so keep
on coming. Nominations will be March 23rd and Elections will be
on March 30th. Elections are early this year so that we can
better transition members into new positions. Let's keep trying
to attend sporting event so that we can possibly win the award
from Greek Affairs.
B – Add items to the calendar for February as needed. We will
read our personal goals for the semester.
C – Please fill out the community service sheet that is being
passed around.
D – Today is the first day for dues payments. You have till the
end of the day to get your dues to me.
E – I am working on an alumni newsletter. I wil! l be asking
people to write chapter goings on for me to include.
F – Thanks to brothers Armbruster and Bickerton for doing sober
brother this week. I am passing around the sign up sheet for
sober brother for the rest of the semester. Please sign up.
Recruitment – I went to a round table last week. We are holding
meetings and going through the book “Good Guys”. Anyone is
welcome to come to these meetings with me every other Monday at
9pm. Meet at the house at 8:30pm if you want to go. The Sunday
following those meetings I will discuss with the chapter what was
presented. Tomorrow we will be going bowling. I will not be able
to take a large group but I will pass a sign up sheet around.
Wednesday is a girls basketball game at 7pm. Meet at the house at
6pm. Keep trying to meet possible new members. Take them to
smaller events first then a larger event. Next Sunday is the
Super Bowl, we will be working on having food at the house.
AMC – No Report.

Standards – No cases pending at this time. We will tal! king abo
ut some bylaw changes in new business.
Social – Thanks to everyone for coming out this weekend. We have
two socials coming up this week. I will send information on which
days and which times.
Philanthropy – No Report.
Fundraiser – I am still working on some ideas. I am also taking
ideas for anyone who has them.
Brotherhood – No Report. The Globetrotters will be coming the
Anderson Arena if anyone is interested.
Intramurals – Basketball went well last week. We will have
basketball as well as football this week. Curling is coming up
and I need someone to go the the captains meeting.
Community Service – No Report.
Scholarship – If you have two documented study table hours turn
them in. We will be drawing for the A board next week. Brothers
Pierson and Bickerton will be the proctors for study tables this
week.
Web – No Report.
House Manager – No Report.
Dance Marathon – This weekend there is and event on Saturday at
the field house at 1! 1am. It will be wild and crazy for the
Kids. I have forms for those who want to dance or morale.
PR – No Report.
Historian – No Report.
House Staff – No Report.
RLC – Regionals is coming along well. There is sign up sheet for
those that want to attend the whole conference. There will also
be a sign up for those that want to go to dinner if we can fit
you. Please call the sororities if you were assigned to do that.
The sign will be in on Tuesday. The shirts are ordered already.

Open Forum –
Starner- If you know of anyone that may have taken my I Pod over
the weekend please tell me. I don't care who may have taken it, I
would just like it returned.
Lewis- As of now we have three moralers but we do not have any
dancers. Please sign up!
Guyer- Recruitment events tomorrow and Wednesday.
Robb-I will send an e-mail about regionals.
