Delta Chi Chapter Meeting Minutes – 11/18/07

Meeting called to order at 6:00 pm. by “F”
Motion to approve last week’s minutes–Rancourt/Svoboda
Guest speakers from the American Marketing Association presented
information on a dodgeball philanthropy that they are holding.

A – I have housing sign up sheets. I need 5 more people to fill
the house. We really need to fill the house this coming year. We
have a consulting visit after Thanksgiving. If you are a
committee chairman, you need to sign up for a time to meet with
the consultant. Elections are today. Remember to sign up for
composite pictures if you are an initiated member. You must have
a white dress shirt for the composite picture.
B – We need to discuss chapter next week as it is Thanksgiving.
C –
D – Make sure that you are getting your dues money in to me as
soon as possible.
E – The quarterly art! icle is due on December 1st. If you feel
that there are things that need to be added, send them to me so
that I can get them in.
F – Thanks to brother Rader for being sober brother on Friday.
There is no sober brother this weekend.
Recruitment – Tomorrow is Monday Night Football at the house at
9pm. We will be having wings.
AMC – No Report.
BB – No Report.
Standards – No Report.
Social – Thanks to everyone for making semi-formal a success.
Turkey Bowl is canceled.
Philanthropy – We will be doing some V foundation wristband
tables at the union to make some more money for the foundation. I
will give wristbands out to sell over break.
Fundraiser – No Report.
Brotherhood – No brotherhood events this week. Look for events in
the weeks to come.
Intramurals – No Report.
Community Service – If you are interested in coaching basketball
for special Olympics, contact me.
Scholarship – No study tables or phone calls are needed this !

Web – No Report.
House Manager – Tomorrow we will be having a full Delta Chi house
cleaning at 11pm. Please come and help to clean up.
Dance Marathon – We have nobody signed up for Dance Marathon so
far. We need to get members to sign up. bgdancemarathon.com has
information. Go to the website and fill out letters to get
pledges from others.
PR – I need to see brother Cohen after chapter and if you have
anything for me to do, let me know.
Historian – I have the scrapbook here. If you feel that there is
something missing from the book, e-mail me and let me know. Also,
I need pictures to put into the scrapbook.
House Staff – No Report.
RLC – The new sign is in the process of being put together. We
will work hard after Thanksgiving break.
