Delta Chi Chapter Meeting Minutes –10/8/07

Meeting called to order at 8:53 p.m. by “F”
Motion to approve last week’s minutes- Flander/Svoboda

A – Alpha Omicron Pi is holding their annual AOPie in the face. I
am willing to do it if you are going to be there to support me.
B – If you have anything to add to the calendar tell me and I
will add it. I want some feedback from chairman.
C – Community Service sheet.
D – I sent out an e-mail about payment plans. Please get dues to
me when they are due.
E – Founders day is on Saturday. We will dress up on Friday for
classes. Saturday we will have a lunch at 1 pm at the house.
F – Brother Svoboda is sober brother on Friday.Brother Bickerton
is sober brother on Saturday.
Recruitment – Congratulations to Trey Howell for being pinned
tonight. We will be working on getting some guys for later in the
semester.!
AMC – Thanks to brothers Pierson, Sutphin, Russel and Albright
for helping to paint the dining room. Big Little may need to be
rescheduled. There will be a brief AM class after chapter.
BB – No Report.
Standards – Standards board will have a meeting after chapter. On
the board are brothers Albright, Johnson, Robb and Ramsey with
brother Randall being the alternate.
Social – We are still working on prices for semi-formal. More
information was passed around. Make sure that you reserve your
rooms by October 26th.
Philanthropy – There are three philanthropies coming up. They are
the price is right on October 13th. Delta Gamma Anchorman and
Lambda Chi Punt Pass and Kick. Let me know if you wish to
participate. Our philanthropy is coming up. This week we will
work on advertising. Look for e-mails about all the upcoming events.
Fundraiser – Good job with campus menus. Keep handing out your
cards. I will be in contact with the coordinator of the program !
to see how we are progressing.
Brotherhood – We will have! a cornh ole brotherhood on Saturday
at 11:30. Look for other events.
Intramurals – Look for e-mails about upcoming sports. Football
will start up again on Wednesday.
Community Service – Look for an e-mail if you are on my committee.
Scholarship – The winners of the A board are brothers Rancourt
and Albright. I will bring the gift certificates next chapter.
Study tables are Tuesday and Wednesday from 8-10pm. Proctors will
be brother Denhart on Tuesday and brother Bundy on Wednesday. For
the AMs, grade sheets are due October 21st. Make your phone calls.
Web – I will be doing updates this week.
House Manager – Thanks to those who painted the house. I will put
the paint in the house manager closet. The new chore list will go
up today. You have till tomorrow night to do your chores from
last week. The new washer will be coming on October 14th. We may
want to repaint the pool room in the future. We are missing some
of our silverware. Please return them if you have som! e.
Dance Marathon – bgdancemarathon.com has the biker forms. Get
them in early if you want to do the ride.
PR – The chapter that have founders days this month will get
flowers and a card from us this week. I will send a card to
brother Albright's mother and brother Flander's father.
Historian – I am getting a new camera this weekend so I will be
able to take more pictures soon. If you have a camera, take
photos for the website. If you have pictures send them to brother
Randall or Georges.
RLC- An important meeting will occur next week after chapter.
Please do what you need to before attending my meeting.

Discussion of finding made by the task force on house renovations.

Motion to discuss the purchase a set of silverware for the house
from the fundraiser budget- Skidmore/Flanders

Albright- The pool table assembler has ordered ! the felt for the
pool table.
