Delta Chi Chapter Meeting Minutes – 9/30/07

Meeting called to order at 6 pm. by “F”
Motion to approve last week’s minutes- Johnson/Randall

A – This week in new business we need hold nominations for a new BB.
B – I am passing around the October calender. Add events if needed.
C – I am passing around the community service sheet.
D – I will be sending out a e-mail with the payment plans and dates so that you can
pay your dues in a timely fashion. I deposited the checks this week. Those not
making the first payment so far are Flanders, Chapman, Starner, Elliot, Moreau.
E – The tailgating this week went very well. Could we send a thank you to Mr.
Flanders for bringing out food. We will have a committee meeting tomorrow at 6pm
at the house.
F – Thanks to brothers Bickerton and Bundy for sober brother this week. Sober
brother is canceled this week due to Fall ! Break. Overview of FIPG guidelines.
Recruitment – Trey Howell has accepted his bid. We will have a pinning sometime
after fall break. Keep in contact with our holds. Bring people around to the house.
AMC – All AMs meet at the house at 7:45pm for class tonight. Congratulations to
Chad Ramsey for getting initiated this weekend.
BB – No Report.
Standards – No Report.
Social – Semi-formal will be on November 17th. We will be staying at the Raddisson.
Rooms will be $129 per night. Dinner prices are still to come. I will send out an e-
mail with more information.
Philanthropy – Congratulations to Rancourt and McDowell for getting 4th place at
the cornhole philanthropy today. Our philanthropy is November 4th. It is from noon
to 6pm. It is mandatory. October 8th is the day that we will start promoting the
event. We will have tables at the union to sign up for our philanthropy as well as to
sell wristbands.
Fundraiser – We will discuss how we want to spe! nd the fundraising money during
new business.
Brotherhood! – We ar e looking at paintball and putt-putt. Look for e-mails. We are
starting the stock market game tomorrow. It's free and there will be a prize at the
end. We are going camping this weekend over fall break.
Intramurals – There will be no flag football due to fall break. Ultimate frisbee
playoffs are tomorrow at 9pm. The doubles tennis season ended with the team of
Randall and Johnson finishing 1 and 3.
Community Service – I went to the round table this week. We are looking to have an
all Greek community service event. We also talked about pairing up with sororities
for community service.
Scholarship – Sorry for not being available this week. Please make your phone calls
and go to study tables if you need to.
Web – I need pictures for the website. The family tree will go up this week.
House Manager – The new chore list is up today. You need to get you chores done in
early in the week. I will walk through before fall break to make sure the house is
clean. We ! are getting a new washing machine on October 14th. Please respect the
furniture.
Dance Marathon – If you want to get involved in dance marathon. Go to
bgdancemarathon.com. I will get information out over listproc.
PR – Check your e-mail if you are on my committee to see when the committee
meeting will be.
Historian – I cannot find my camera. I believe that it is at the house. If you know
where it is let me know.
RLC – Short meeting after chapter.
