7. News of Alumni:
    The Alumni Board of Trustees met on Saturday October 14, 2006. The
following alumni brothers were in attendance for either the meeting,
homecoming festivities, or both:
Chris Prokes, Matt Frey, Adam Sweigart, Andrew Reider, Ben DeStephen,
Larry Behum, Doug Slovak.
Minutes and ABT Officer Appointments from the ABT meeting will be
forthcoming to International Headquarters.
ABT President Chris Prokes will be meeting with the IHQ Consultant
when he comes October 24-26.

    Delta Chi Chapter Meeting Minutes –10/15 /06

Meeting called to order at 6 p.m. by "F"

Motion to approve last week's minutes: McNamara/Flanders

A – Bring your chapter to IFC is October 24, 2006 at 9:15 in the
multipurpose room of the union. November 7th is IFC nominations. All
committee chairmen and executive board need to sign up for meetings
with the consultant.

B – Passed around calendar. Keep working on our goals. E-mail me
committee meeting times so that I can attend.

C – No Report

D – Pay your dues as soon as possible.

E – Homecoming events went well this weekend. Thanks to alumni Rider
and Swiegert for helping with the tent clean up.

F – Thanks to Robb and Johnson for being sober brother this weekend.
Look for an e-mail about next week's sober brother.

Recruitment – No Report

AMC – AM class at 7:30! pm Sunday at the house.

BB – No Report.

Standards – If you are still interested in being a member of the
standards board, fill out your application and return it to Keith as
soon as possible.

Social – No Report

Philanthropy – Fuzzy football is on Saturday. There is a walk-a-thon
on November 5th.

Fundraiser – There will be a meeting this week or next. Check e-mail
for more information.

Brotherhood – Paintball sign up sheet passed around.

Intramurals – Wednesday is A team flag football at 9:00pm. Handball
sign-up sheet passed around. I will update the All Sports MVP paddle.

Community Service – Had our 2nd V Foundation table. Wristbands are now
bursarable and are 2 for $5 bursar or 1 for $3 if paying cash. There are three projects that I want to do to raise money for V Foundation.
First, working with athletic department to sell tickets to faculty and
staff. A portion of the ticket sales goes to us for the V Foundation.
Second is with the Meijer staff and have each pay to wear their team
jersey to work. Third is to have a competition between fraternities
and sororities to see who can sell the most wristbands. Winner will
get a prize.

Scholarship – Study tables are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8pm-10pm.

Web – No Report

House Manager – House looks good. Keep up on chores.

Dance Marathon – No Report

PR – Sent flowers to Tim Georges' mother. Thanks to Tommy Balicky for
representing up well on homecoming royalty court. Sent out flowers and cards to some sororities who had founder's days recently.

Historian – Talked to some alumni about the family trees. New pictures
should be up on the website soon.

House Staff – No Report

Old Business –

Open Forum –

Balicky- CRU is having its annual Greek Relate in Toledo on November
10-11. Cost is $15.

Johnson- Denhart's I-Week is the last week on November with initiation
on December 2nd.

Congratulations to Tommy for winning homecoming king. Congratulations
to Buzzelli for putting on a good homecoming event.

Announcements –

Chairmen remember to sign up for meeting times with the consultant.
