BREAK AT BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY.

Friday;

ASAP. AZD Fuzzie Football sign-up is in the house. No IFC on Tuesday
(10/12/04) due to Fall Break. Highest New Member GPA was Kappa
Alpha. We need to vote on candidates for Emerging Leaders. EL starts
on October 29th (Friday) and ends on the 31st (Sunday).
>*Our study buddies that we have been paired with is Delta Sigma Theta
>@ the library on Monday nights (7-9pm). October 15th there will be an
ad in the BG news for the 2 highest fraternity and sorority GPA's.
Technology Chair Roundtables scheduled for 8pm 10/13/04.
>B - The mid-semester meeting was going to be this Saturday,
however, ABT's
>meeting was scheduled instead. So, the time and date will be changed

>F - Sobro is back on this weekend. Make sure you are checking the
calendar to see who is on duty. I will be sending out a reminder email
with who it is this weekend since it changed. There and been 4 deaths
of members in fraternities over the
>past month. This is alarming and beginning to have people calling out
for reform of the national fraternity system. Please be careful with
what you do as a Delta Chi. Lets not
>ruin all of our great progress this semester by killing someone (if
you know its stupid, don t do it). Initiated members, remember to set
an example for the AMs by showing respect for the rules in our bylaws,
some of you haven t been, so lets correct our actions before standards
has to become involved. Again, just remember to be careful. I don t
want to see anyone get hurt....I love you all.
>Recruitment - We have chosen the men that will be receiving money off
of their first semester dues. J Schulz will receive the 100 dollar
scholarship and S Lewis will receive the 50 dollar scholarship
>AMC - All AM's need to send ME their big/little preferences ASAP if
you

There will be an AM Meeting at the house at 5pm on Sunday (10/17)
>Read Chapters 5-6. Be ready for a quiz. I will have information
about one of the pledge class projects at the meeting on Sunday.
>PR - Many sororities are having their Founder's Day this week, so
I'll be busy sending them cards.
>WEB - The webpage has been temporarily down, due to the company not
sending me a bill for this year. Everything is paid, and we are just
waiting for the domain to be re-registered, so it should be back
online shortly.
>Scholarship - AM study tables this weekend, 9pm at the house. Bring
whatever you have been having trouble with. Also, come with some sort
of idea of how you stand in all your classes right now. If this means
asking a prof for idea of your grade, do it. If they can t give you
one, no big deal. Just guess as to how you are doing the best you can.
Remember, there is a bet on the table now and honestly, its going to
be close. So get those grades to get imitated and win a bet. Also,
remember that if you ever need help I WILL find it for you. All you
have to do is ask. That goes for anyone.
>Dance Marathon - I'll let everyone know what all is goin on next
meeting. Just
>explain that a few others and I will be deciding on the fundraising
items that we will be selling on behalf of D-chi for DM.
>Intramurals - Reminder to Shell, Booth, J-Mac, and Phil that they owe
me $7.50 for their replacement jersies. THERE IS NO C TEAM FOOTBALL ON
MONDAY OCT 11. There will be a B Team Football game at 7pm on TUESDAY,
so if you are on the team show up! Finally, I will send out a listproc
email when the jersies come in and then have further instructions.

>Social - I sent out a list of all of our socials set up so far. Check
it b/c there are a few changes. Remember deltiki is this thursday @
the burbs. new members 8 pm and actives at 10 pm. Hawiian dress
required Semi-formal is planned. There will be a sheet of info out
soon. Remember when we have a social, its only Delta Chi's
>House Manager - will be picking up the couches over fall break. So
when we come back well have new leather couches! Finally!
